It must be difficult for one who holds Jungian views to review a book which aPproaches human behaviour from a scientific and experimental standpoint, but this does not justify the misunderstanding and misrepresentation displayed by Dr. Torrie, who appears to start from fhe assumption that while it is interestln8 and important to speculate why criminals are what they are, it is a waste ?f time to inquire how mental and social habits are formed.
